Dr. Lyndon Wong
Dr. Lyndon Wong works hard to provide quality orthodontics in a warm, comfortable and caring environment. Dr. Wong feels it is a privilege to be serving the residents in Milton and is excited to welcome you to the practice.
Dr. Wong was born in Toronto and raised in Mississauga. After completing three years of undergraduate studies majoring in chemistry and economics at the University of Toronto, he received early acceptance into the dental program at the University of Toronto and graduated with honors. From there, Dr. Wong extended his training at the University of Western Ontario in a general practice residency where he worked closely with oral surgeons and pediatric dentists in London Ontario’s three major hospitals. He gained valuable experience working with children and managing the dental care of medically compromised patients and cancer patients undergoing radiation therapy. During this time, he also traveled to northern Ontario to provide much needed dental care to the aboriginal people in Sioux Lookout and the surrounding areas.
After completing his hospital residency, he returned to the Toronto area where he worked in a private dental practice for a year before his passion for orthodontics led him to further his studies at the world renowned and prestigious University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Here, Dr. Wong completed his specialty training in orthodontics and upon graduation, he returned home to the Toronto area where he now works full time at the Orthodontic Centre in Milton.
Outside of the office, Dr. Wong enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He and his wife have three boys, Jackson, Wesley, and Brandon. He loves being a father and looks forward to all the fun and challenges that it brings. When he does get a chance, Dr. Wong also enjoys photography, martial arts, badminton, tennis and playing the guitar.
I am from a small town in England called Huddersfield. I now live in Milton following a move to Canada with my boyfriend in the summer of 2017.
In my spare time I like to be creative, Skype with family back home and explore what Canada has to offer. I have two cats, Minnie (who we brought with us from England) and Gus. My favorite TV shows are Grey’s Anatomy, Stranger Things and Peaky Blinders.
My favorite ice cream has to be from a parlour back home called Dixon’s and I miss it so much!
If I could live anywhere in the world it would have to be Bora Bora.
I was born in Montreal and grew up in Windsor. I currently live in Toronto.
When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my handsome son, shopping and going out to the movies. I don’t own any animals but I’d love to own a dog someday. The best experience I have experienced in my life would be sky diving in Cuba!
I was born in Managua, Nicaragua and now live in Milton. I love everything about being a dental assistant! I love putting braces on, giving instructions and chatting with people.
In my spare time I love spending time with my husband and two beautiful kids. I also love watching movies with my mom, cooking and dancing. My favorite movie is The Notebook. If I could eat every night at a restaurant, I would eat at the Keg and finish off with a Dulce de Leche ice cream!
A little known fact: I have a secret crush on Justin Bieber and a poster of him at home.
I am a Certified Level II Dental Assistant and I graduated from Everest College in Ottawa in 2010. It was a career that I chose later in life and absolutely love!
I was born and raised in a small fishing village in northern Quebec where my dad was an amazing lighthouse keeper (those were great years). I currently reside in Oakville with my beautiful daughter.
My favourite place to spend time is anywhere outdoors, especially near the water. If I am forced to be inside, you can find me eating a family-sized bag of chips and getting lost in a good book!
I was born and raised in Alberta. I moved to Ontario in the fall of 2016. I obtained my Project Management certification and had many previous roles in sales and customer service. One of them was working as a claims adjudicator, which gave me experience and understanding of orthodontics and has helped tremendously in my role now. I believe you are never to old to learn and I find it rewarding to work with Dr. Wong and a great team. I like providing a personal touch to each patient and I love my role as the treatment coordinator here.
When not in the office, I enjoy painting, gardening, creating new projects, taking courses, and watching those crazy racoons, squirrels and birds. I also enjoy spending time with my husband in our new home, Ontario.
I was born and raised in Guelph and I continue to reside there. I graduated from George Brown College in Dental Assisting and Durham College for Hygiene. I love to learn and hold a certificate in cake decorating and interior design. I completed two courses in real estate two years ago.
I have two incredible kids who are my world. Lucas is an architect with a firm in Milton and Sydney is a high school student. Sydney is an equestrian and loves to compete in hunter jumping.
In my free time, you will find me in my garden. Lately, I love spontaneous road trips with my beautiful daughter. We have recently fallen in love with the Niagara region. I also love to travel with New Zealand and Ireland on my bucket list.
I adore ice cream and my new favourite flavour is creme brûlée. I have to be honest….I am a reality show junky. I love Survivor and Amazing Race.
